Linying Xiang is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Automation at Xiamen University, Xiamen, China. She received the Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from the Department of Automation at Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2008. From November 2008 to October 2010, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. From March 2013 to June 2013, she was a Senior Research Assistant with the Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
Dr. Xiang's research interests are in the area of synchronization and control of complex networks, coordinated control of multi-agent systems.
Dr. Xiang serves as a reviewer for several journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics--Part B: Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-Part I, Part II, Systems & Control Letters, International Journal of Control, International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Applications, Nonlinear Dynamics, Physica A, Applied Mathematical Modelling, International Journal of Systems Science, Pattern Recognition Letters, Modern Physics Letters B, and several conferences such as Multi-Conference on Systems and Control, Chinese Control Conference, Chinese Control and Decision Conference. Dr. Xiang was a Program Committee Member of Asian Control Conference and Chinese Conference of Complex Networks.
